at it again

Look who was back at it again today....

You think maybe now I will learn to close the bathroom door?

Eliana is captivated by animals and the sounds they make. She thinks animal sounds are quite hilarious, actually. This week she started imitating the dog when he was panting. And well, we found THAT quite hilarious.



Eliana has used a few signs here and there too, though she's way more into speaking than signing. And hey, why not? I think the chances of getting what we want are higher with loud sounds than with emphatic signing, and this little sweetie has mastered loudness! The video is of one of our quieter meals though.... Eliana signs 'more' and 'please' (rubbing tummy) and asks for a banana (she is obsessed with bananas). I thought since we were on a roll she might add one more and sign for 'nigh night' but she didn't bite. It was mealtime after all.



Today I went to a plant sale and found an "Ellie Astilbe". Great find, in honour of our little banana crazed animal lover!
