Can it really be April?
As I type, big white flakes are falling from the spring sky and Maia is out on the lawn making the most of this last blast of winter. (Well, at least I hope that's what it is.)
I, on the other hand, am not acknowledging the reality outside in my own subversive way: spring cleaning.
I expect my parents will return from Florida today. Won't that be nice?? Welcome home to our Canadian reality!

You're right, we are back from Florida (as of yesterday!).
The snow today was a real shock to our system considering that we were walking on a very hot beach on Friday (our last chance before heading home). I think next year we'll stay an extra week and make sure spring really has arrived!
I just caught up on all your wonderful blogs. Glad to see that you're enjoying so much of spring with the chicks and the maple syrup, etc. You're such a great mom! I think the girls have grown up in the six weeks we haven't seen them. I can't believe Maia can write all her numbers!
I meant to call you today, Mon, but things got a little crazy. You'll be pleased to know that I already have l00 pictures of Florida in an album for all of you to see.....
Yolanda greeted us with a baked pie at home, nice eh?, and I just brought her home this afternoon.

Maia looks like she's having a blast. Next time we come, your grass will be green and we'll be wearing shorts. I'm counting on it!
