When Maia was an infant, I began something I called "French Fridays" -- my attempt at making our home somewhat bilingual. The experiment failed miserably. An English phone call or a nap would create a gap in our francophone day, and would completely forget to revert back to French.

It turns out Maia has become bilingual anyways.

Not in French, mind you, but in her own made-up language. I'm not sure what it's called. The name changes every time I ask about it. Let's call it "Maia-ish".

Below is a four minute video clip of her singing in her new tongue, with some pretty Maia-ish dance moves included as well. The clip divided in two halves, since blogger felt it was too long to subject you to the video in its entirety.
