overtired and squirrely

Yesterday we had lunch with friends after church at their place. We expected to put Maia down for her early afternoon nap while there, but the girl is such an extrovert that she just stayed happy (while surrounded by people to watch and entertain) so she stayed up until we got home at 3 pm. Thinking she'd be more than primed and ready for her nap, we were a bit surprised to hear her partying in her crib from 3 o'clock on. I went in to read her a story, hoping to calm her down, but this only led to more of a party. She was so wired we had to take a short video. I've called it "overtired and squirrely"... enjoy!

(I couldn't upload the video for some reason, but I decided to post anyways. It was made clear to me that not posting more photos/video of Maia shortly was going to make Auntie Christine a little squirrely herself. I quote:
