it's never too cold to swing

We've just returned from a wonderful winter getaway... but before I tell you about that (much to tell), I thought I'd try to satisfy the appetite of a few keeners who have been without a fresh Maia picture for over a week. Breathe deeply again, aunties!

We just left mom's this morning, who had Maia for the week while we were up north. Of course, Maia was in her glory as "Oma" is without a doubt her favourite person on the planet these days. After a long walk in the back field this morning (during which Maia sat contentedly in a sled), the girl was not ready to go inside but begged instead to be put in the apple tree swing. And it was no short swing. What this girl loves, she really loves.

Apparently, January is not too cold to enjoy repeated gushes of wintry wind. Winter lover. She's definitely her father's daughter.
