pink eskimo

This post is for all our friends and family who don't live in a snow belt and didn't get whomped last week. I think we had about 40 cm of snow come down last Thursday. The snowfall set lots of records in the area and basically shut down the nearby city of London (population of almost half a million -- even the malls were closed on Friday).
I like the faint stop sign behind Maia in this picture. Symbolic.
The snow is mostly gone today as it's been raining and above the freezing point.
There's time for a white Christmas yet!

Snow? I don't remember what that is. Kind of jealous. Kind of not.

I hadn't noticed teh 'stop' sign before -- I love it. Stop indeed. Stop in deed. Stopping is good.
Be still.
